meets for Sunday morning worship at the Lakes International Language Academy facility in Forest Lake, at  10:00AM.

Lakes International Language Academy (known to some as the "Spanish Immersion School" or "the old hospital"), is located at 246 11th Ave SE (map), just 1 block east of Highway 61 (11th Avenue is the next stoplight north of Highway 97).    Parking is available on the west side of the complex and we use the entrance near the southwest corner, just beyond the gymnasium portion of the building.

Please come and join us.

December 2007

Sundays - Worship services at 10:00AM at Lakes International Language Academy except December 23

       December 09 - Communion
       December 23 - Christmas Service at the church building located at 21288 Harrow Ave N. in Forest Lake*.

    Throughout December, as you are able, everyone is encouraged to bring some Christmas treats to share during the fellowship time following the service.

Thursday, December 13 - Harvest Youth
        Attention all 5th through 12th graders: Our next youth group meeting will be on Thursday, December 13, 6:30-8:00 p.m. We will meet at the Brumbaughs' home. During our meetings, we play games that help us to learn more about each other and to help us apply what we are learning. We will continue our study on the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5. A time to socialize and share dessert will be provided at the end. If you have questions or need directions, please contact David Brumbaugh. We hope to see you there!

       Note location:  this service will be at the church building located at 21288 Harrow Ave N. in Forest Lake*.

* This church building is located 1.25 miles east of Highway 61 on Highway 97/Scandia Trail, then 2 blocks south on Harrow Avenue; west side of the road.

Join us to celebrate Christmas

Please join us for our Christmas services on Sunday December 23 (10:00 AM) and Christmas Eve, December 24 (5:00PM).  Please note the following change of location:

For these services we will not be at our usual Lakes International Language Academy location, but will be using the church facility located at 21288 Harrow Avenue North in Forest Lake. This is 0.2 miles south of Highway 97 on Harrow Avenue (which is 1.25 mile east of Highway 61).  (link to map)

Please join us on Sunday, December23 at 10:00AM for our Christmas worship service, which will feature our children singing with the worship team. Expect this service to last about 1-1/4 hours, the usual length of our Sunday morning service. Please plan to stay for Christmas treats during the fellowship time following the service.

On Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, we will be having our first ever Christmas Eve service at 5:00PM, "guaranteed" to be no longer than 45 minutes. Please see this announcement (.pdf) for more information about this service.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend these services.

       Turning Point is designed for all adults of Harvest Church to meet together midweek in
       the model of Acts 2:42 for prayer, worship, fellowship and training (and some dessert).

We will meet at the Brumbaughs' to prepare an Italian meal for several Harvest Church families. We will deliver the meals and then return for pizza and games. You won't want to miss this opportunity to bless these families! Please let David or Heather know if you are able to come and sign up to bring one food item for the meals. Please also bring $2 each for pizza.
